IB physics and chemistry in highschool.Office job 8h/day 5-6d/wk with 3-4h/d commute.How you might avoid two major pitfalls in CARS.If you can't get it done right, at least get it done fast.Some observations that I'll make about my fight against CARS (will add as I answer more relevant questions): As the days went by, I found that I was slipping up on them even though they were shorter and the questions were simpler, getting 3+ incorrect more regularly. Funny thing with JW is that I started off doing 5-10 passages a day with only 1-2 wrong. Going through the rest of the materials, I didn't really see much change in # incorrect.didn't get frizzled over this, focused on timing - after finishing TPR and EK, I was busting through 9 passages in ~40min easy, with maybe 60-80% in a 9-10 passage section. Started off getting 3-4 wrong per passage. Sometimes I did more, up to 15 was my highest. Day after registering to the very morning of the exam, I did a minimum of 5 passages first thing every morning, no exceptions.KA and JW Daily CARS - worked through about 50-70% of these each between mid-May to mid-June.CARS QP1 and QP2 - completed each three times, reviewed QP1 twice and QP2 once between mid-May and mid-June.UWorld CARS - completed 2x entirely, one additional time partially throughout May.EK 1001 verbal workbook (old) - completed in early May.TPR CARS workbook 2015 ver - completed in April.How to get faster at CARS without reading faster How to review CARS and 5 important skills for CARS Thoughts on studying with large time-commitments (eg full time job) and how to prep in the last 30 days How you might avoid two major pitfalls in CARS includes my review of all the content review books that I used (TBR, TPR, Kaplan, EK).Huge thanks to our mods who made this possible.
